The Society's mission is to stimulate and encourage family history research through a variety of endeavors and to provide members and the genealogical public with a diversity of resources.

Plan to attend the Cemetery Walk on September 26

This year is special. In honor of our nation's 250th anniversary, our
theme will be in honor of the veterans who served in the various wars
prior to the era of the Vietnam War.
Again, it will be free, but a $10 donation of $10 per persons is suggested. There
will be two presentations, one following the other, so select the one that fits your
Saturday morning the best. Bring water and insect repellent, as well as something to
sit on if needed. We'll be gathering at the main entrance to Lakeview Cemetery
at 2500 Seymour Avenue.

Leading our groups will be CGHS President Daniel Sisneros and genealogy librarian ElaineHayes.
No reservations are needed. Specific times will be announced soon. We hope to see you there.

And don't forget the September 8th regular meeting

The library's genealogy research librarian Elaine Hayes will be speaking on Revolutionary War genealogy research.

We will meet at the Laramie County Library at 2200 Pioneer Ave. You'll find us in the Sunflower

Room on the third floor. The program will begin shortly after our business meeting at 6:00 PM.

Attendance is free and open to the public. We hope you can join us.
